Since Man was born he has craved to be ruler of all he sees. Through wars, crusades, and holocausts, Man's greed and power have molded human existence. Even exploration was pursued in the hope of discovering a vault of unknown treasures and supremacy. This fact has remained in the human genome since man took his first bipedal step and now follows him to the stars. With interstellar travel at his side, he terrorizes not only planets, but solar systems and galaxies. His parasitic reign now has its eyes set on the small, unassuming planet of Tenebrus. But on that planet's surface lies a small group of renegades that will threaten to finally end the reign of Man.

What is being said about A'pertua:
"A’pertua is obviously a labor of love; a story that wanted to be told and a creator who wanted to tell it. At 16 pages apiece, each comic feels like it contains the same amount of art and story as a regular, 22-page comic. This is not some quick, simple read as art, story and concept draw you in. This one will leave you thinking long after the cover is closed." - Tonya Crawford, Broken Frontier
"There are many gems in the world of self-published comic books, and Debi Hammack’s premiere comic series A’Pertua gleams brightly among the precious stones."
- Kevin Noel Olson, SilverBulletComicBooks.com
"Not to sound cliché but this comic is a breath of fresh air.
It's Elfquest crossed with Trigun! Only better!
You have what seems like fluffy characters but they are anything but. The story is intriguing and the art work is by far the best I’ve seen in a long long time!.
It's a comic that will attract all different types of readers, the die-hard comic collector, the female audience and any other group.
Though I don't recommend it for young children.
I appreciate this that this comic's themes haven't been dumbed down and I really can't wait for the next issues to see how the characters develop.
I really like the human Vincent but all the characters have something unique and intriguing about them!
I'm in for the long haul on this one!"

"I thought this was an awesome comic and so did my husband--well drawn, very detailed images, and a story that has us waiting eagerly for issue #2! Ms. Hammack has done a fine job of introducing us to what looks to be a complex world with unique and very personable characters in just those first few pages and leaves us wanting to know what happens next. This is a far cry from the comic books of my youth.
How soon will issue #2 be available?"
